Terms of Service

Novedah (The Home Page Fix — thehomepagefix.com) · Last updated: September 6, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services offered by Novedah under The Home Page Fix name at thehomepagefix.com ("we," "us," "our"). By emailing us your website, requesting a rewrite, approving a quote, or paying for a project, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, is incorporated into these Terms by reference and available at thehomepagefix.com.

1. What we provide

Our core service is rewriting the first screen ("hero" or "fold") of a website's homepage: an outcome-focused headline, a clear call to action, and visible contact information, with the rest of the page left unchanged. In some cases, at your request and by separate agreement, we may rewrite additional sections or the full homepage. Deliverables are provided as a written document, an image mock-up, and/or working HTML, as agreed for your specific project, and will be described in your quote or project confirmation.

2. Additional services

Full-site rebuilds, ongoing website maintenance, SEO services, branding or logo design, hosting, and legal/compliance review are not included in a standard hero rewrite, but may be available separately by agreement, and may be billed differently than a flat-rate project (see Section 3).

3. Payment

Pricing depends on the service. A hero rewrite is flat-rate and quoted before work begins; payment is due before final delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. Ongoing services such as maintenance or hosting, where offered, are billed on a recurring monthly basis and may be cancelled by either party with reasonable notice as stated in your service agreement. Revisions beyond the number stated in your quote may incur an additional fee, which we will disclose before proceeding.

4. The process

You send us your website address and a short description of the customer or result you want more of. We review your first screen against three checks: whether the headline states a result, whether there is one clear action, and whether your phone number is visible without scrolling. We then send a proposed rewrite, typically within a few business days, for your review. You may request the revisions included in your quote before final delivery.

5. Ownership

Once your project is paid in full, you own the copy and design we deliver for that project and may use it however you wish. We retain the right to reference the work, including before/after examples, in our own portfolio or marketing materials, unless you tell us in writing that you would prefer we do not.

6. No guarantee of results

We aim to make your homepage's first screen clearer and easier to act on. We do not guarantee any specific increase in bookings, calls, inquiries, or revenue, as results depend on factors outside our control, including your traffic, market, and how the rewrite is implemented.

7. Client responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide us about your business, services, pricing, and contact details, and for obtaining any permissions needed to use images, testimonials, or other materials you supply. You are responsible for implementing the delivered copy and design on your live website, or engaging someone to do so, unless implementation is explicitly included in your quote.

8. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

Either party may end an engagement before work begins with written notice. Once work has started, fees for work completed are non-refundable, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or for legal reasons. The version posted at thehomepagefix.com is the current one, and continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to horace@thehomepagefix.com.
